Effective air cleaning in five steps

The Clean Air Optima® UV Plasma Ion Air Purifier CA-401 has many applications: completely silent air purification without ventilation or ultra-strong air purification with silent ventilation.

1. Extraction of dirty indoor air using a quiet and powerful fan.

2. The special electrostatic filter system in the UV Plasma Ion Air Purifier CA-401 can draw in air without using a fan.

An electromagnetic field is created inside the device, which affects the air and dust with electric voltage, so the dust particles are attracted to the dust collector plates as if under the influence of a magnet. The electrical voltage in the air is then removed and the air is released from the device.

Electrostatic filter and plasma technology captures particles down to 0.01 micrometer in size. Such particles include fine dust, pollen and other particles. Electrostatic dust collectors attract airborne dust and other harmful substances like a magnet. The stainless steel plate can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

1. During the ionization process, negative ions are produced, which clean the indoor air. The positive effect of ionization is that the air is enriched with active oxygen. Negative ions attach to dust particles, microorganisms and other unwanted compounds and bind them together. The particles then become heavier and settle on the floor or are filtered out by the air cleaner.

2. UV lamp. The lamp's ultraviolet light (UV-C radiation) with a wavelength of 254 nm kills unwanted microorganisms such as microbes, viruses, mold (mold spores) and bacteria. In addition, microorganisms in the device itself are also eliminated. Thus, they cannot reproduce and spread through the air. UV-C light has the highest frequency, shortest wavelength and highest energy of all types of light, so it can penetrate the membrane of microorganisms and destroy their DNA. The remaining particles are filtered out by an electrostatic filter or attracted by the stainless steel plates of the dust collectors. It has been proven that the UV-C technology used is highly effective in killing pathogenic viruses, bacteria and protozoa. Up to 99.99% or more of microbiological organisms can be destroyed using UV-C light.
